I want to believe someone who writes such beautiful poetry could never hurt me, or desert me. Can I be worthy of such sweetness without suffering? I’ve never really been seen, People rarely get what I mean, But you dissect so effortlessly, A power that enraptures me. I notice

I caught the words. My throat swells up. Jagged rockwall of things untouched. Rockfall holds the potential to crush. Isn’t a slow burn easier to adjust? I admit I’m giving up on us. Too scared to give you a chance so I rush. An hour or two, I
