Mother serves me up on a silver platter
My dad wants my reality to shatter
Invisible wire tightens around freshly grown wings
It frightens me yet I prevail even when it stings
Parroting back sharp words of the monster with which she lays
She gets what she deserves, that's why with him she stays
Awful monsters love each other because they see themselves in another
I will not allow their shame to taint those I aim to call a lover
