Gaunt faces blend together
Are you really all the same?
Those who torture
Those who maim
Those who never learned restraint

I understand you were hurt
So what?
Actions that seem rehearsed
Please just stop
Old voices echo in your words
I have had enough

Images fade along with your name
Your rage was never mine to tame
And yet it made me feel insane
I will no longer carry your blame

I center you one final time
Exorcise you from my mind
You will no longer waste my time
Nor taint my view of all mankind
