In another life
Crescent moons adorn your arms
Slipping through my fingers
Cocooning an ugly charm
A silver touch, soft fingers
Gliding across my scalp
A luminous smile
Feeds a fresh start
A whispered plea
Let's never be apart

Sadly I've grown
An unattached heart
I'll send you pockets of sweetness
Glimmers you can enjoy
I'm stunned and speechless
Protecting what I have destroyed
Roses revealed to be daisies
I find my self safely in love
In gratitude for the joy
You showed me I'm capable of
